Golden Finance reported that on October 9, Nico, the protocol coordinator of the Ethereum Foundation, publicly announced the Ethereum privacy wallet project Kohaku. Kohaku is a set of primitives that provide security and privacy for wallets, aimed at ensuring wallet security and handling shielded transactions while minimizing reliance on trusted third parties. It is primarily a wallet SDK, as well as a reference implementation for a browser extension. The core goals of Kohaku are: an SDK that provides powerful privacy/security primitives; a reference implementation wallet for advanced users; collaboration with other wallets to implement all or part of the SDK that they care about.
