Ark Invest has raised its Bitcoin price target: bullish and bearish scenarios

Ark Invest has raised its price prediction for Bitcoin's 2030 bull market scenario from 1 million 500 thousand dollars to 2 million 400 thousand dollars using a new modeling method.

In the report published by analyst David Puell on Thursday, it was stated that this forecast was updated considering Bitcoin's liquid supply – that is, excluding lost or long-held Bitcoins. According to the report, this scenario indicates an annual compound growth rate of 72% between the end of 2024 and the end of 2030.

Using the same modeling approach, the base scenario for 2030 predicts a price of 1 million 200 thousand dollars with an annual growth of 53% and in the bear scenario a price of 500 thousand dollars with an annual growth of 32%.

Puell emphasized that the use of Bitcoin as digital gold is effective in bear and base scenarios, while in the bull scenario, institutional investment plays a decisive role. Additionally, the increasing access to Bitcoin in developing countries also stands out as another factor driving the price up.
