Foresight News reports that Grégory Raymond tweeted that Christian Rau, the European crypto head of Mastercard, recently stated in an interview that Mastercard is closely monitoring Crypto Assets but will not deviate from its established direction. "Our strategy has never changed in 50 years: to enable people to pay securely and in compliance, and to allow businesses to collect payments. Crypto Assets are part of this logic. We are not trying to completely overhaul the system, but rather to enrich it. We prioritize interoperability with existing solutions. However, if no solutions meet our needs, we may consider developing our own."
