Earlier, the Israeli army dropped leaflets over the village of Wazani in southern Lebanon, calling on people to evacuate the area. However, the Israeli Defense Forces command later claimed that the distribution of the leaflets in southern Lebanon was an operation of the 769th Brigade, which was not authorized by the Israeli Defense Forces command and is now under investigation.
